Hey friend,
Today I am at drill and we are jumping out of airplanes.
Yes, I am going to jump out of a perfectly good airplane.
The 1st time I did it I was surrounded by people that had done it before and have hundreds of jumps under their belt.
The army sent me to jump school to learn this skill which is dangerous but exhilarating at the same time.
Like I said before at that school our instructors were experts and we were surrounded by other jumpers.
Fast forward 8 years laters in the military and this morning I am talking to a lady about how I jump out of airplanes.
She was wide eyed and super intrigued. Asking questions after questions.
To her I was some stud that jumps out of airplanes yet myself I don't even value my ability to jump out of perfectly good airplanes.
What skills have you learned that others find to be super valuable yet you undervalue them...
Yes, you have more than 1 skill right now that others would kill to learn.
The best way to remember that you have skills is by getting around other people that have different skills that appreciate others with different skills.
The simplest way to say this... Expand your network and get outside of your comfort zone.
I love you...
See you tomorrow...
P.S
Remember to breathe deeply and feel your emotions. You are doing your best and stop being hard on yourself.
